Also handmade and OMG is it heavy!! They used quality wood. LOL and it too smelled like Pledge (but was not slippery). Although it is quite nice looking it does not fit my decor, so I believe I may be painting it.
I have to put it in the dining room and that is where my dilema is. I want it to store my appliances in, but if I put it in the kitchen it will just be too crowded. I don't really want my guests seeing all my appliances through the glass doors - in the dining room! I have thought of maybe putting a lace curtain on the inside of the doors.
Any thoughts or comments?

ReplyDeleteThat sure is a nice find... I'd hate to see any fabric on or in that! What I'd do is remove both doors, take one to the local hardware store and get two made that size and then stain it. I did that to something similar and turned it into a pantry. You'll have to let us know what you decide!
Good luck!
All the best,
Kim

Wait. You really found that on the curb? And you got it for free??!?! That is AMAZING!!! That is an awesome find...why would someone get rid of that like that? Do you live near a college? Usually I only find things like that when students were leaving the area. Great job!
